Forever Autumn

USA - Active.

Description

Atmospheric Doom

From a one-woman project, Forever Autumn has now become a duo. Slightly minimalistic, quiet and introspective, using neo-classical touches that link them to bands like Amber Asylum and Of the Wand And the Moon. The band describe themselves as:
"Forever Autumn is the continuing musical expression and performance art of one Autumn Ni Dubhghaill. In an effort to describe her musique, Autumn created a new genre which she calls Acoustic Doom. Capturing the essence of Doom Metal, unplugged and stripped to the bone, with the traditional sounds of ancient Celtic, Slavic, and Scandinavian folk musique, Forever Autumn becomes so much more; an intimate experience, and a gateway to another world."

Misc

Editor's note Acoustic Doom is a term to be taken in its literal meaning; it isn’t heavy at all, but it is dark and thoughtful.
