Gothic/Doom, Death/Doom

Embrace my Ruin was a unique, multi-faceted, and surprisingly refreshing blend of Doom, Death, and Gothic Metal. Their music takes somewhere between a slightly harsher Draconian and a slightly more mellowed out Crematory (think during their 'Transmigration' era). Gloomy bits of Gothic Rock float atop of brooding Doom sections, before leading to full-on assaults of Death Metal blastbeats. The vocals consist of deep gurgles and bellows, and depressed alto singing. Overall, their material would be worthy of recommendation for someone looking to hear Gothic Doom with an extra kick to it.
