Doomenicus

Italy - Active.

Description

Epic Doom

As the name indicates, this band is truly doomed! Once you get used to the clean vocals, this is some very high quality and very sad, epic and melancholic sounding Doom-metal. Influences and references can be found all over the doom-metal landscape, from Candlemass, Paul Chain to My Dying Bride or St. Vitus. There is even sporadic use of organ sounds. Highly atmospheric and depressed sounding Doom. Some people, however, might have a problem with the deeply Christian lyrics as Doomenicus is a Christian Doom band and their lyrics, as they describe it themselves, are "prayers to god".
