Elbereth

Spain - Disbanded.

Description

Atmospheric Doom

Elbereth started out by playing death metal on their 7" 'Reminiscences From The Past'. Over the course of a few demo tapes, the band slowed down their sound and added some more melodic elements (particularly violin and acoustic guitars). Their only full-length album, '...and Other Reasons' consists of melodic doom metal with female vocals, folk influences, and a very pleasant autumnal atmosphere. The album is very much in the same vein as The 3rd and the Mortal, The Gathering, and Chalice.
