This five piece is most known for their Christian black metal (or un-black/white metal if you wish). However their first two demos 'The Defeat Of Satan' and 'Despair' connect the band to the doom metal genre. During this period, Antestor played a Hellhammer influenced mixture of doom and oldschool death metal. While the first demo is mostly mid-paced, the second one is very slow.

|The demo 'The Defeat Of Satan' was released when the band was still known as Crush Evil. The split 'Northern Lights' is with fellow Norwegian Christian metallers Schaliach, GROMS and Extol. Both Vrede and Sygmoon play in Vaakevandring, a Christian melodic black metal band. - Euronymous once stated that "The militants of Norwegian blackmetal will force this band to split up". However, this prophecy never came true.|
