Gothic/Doom Melbourne-based The Eternal arose from the remnants of preceding Cryptal Darkness as an atmospheric and melodic Gothic Metal band with Doom elements, drawing heavily on My Dying Bride influences. Whilst tending more towards Metal than Doom, the latter influence has varying degrees of strength across their various releases. |
