Gothic/Doom Formed in 1993, Cemetery of Scream were initially a somewhat generic doom/death outfit. Each successive release saw them moving away from their doom roots and into straight up Gothic metal. The band has an oddly original take on goth metal being both uptempo and energetic. Their Gothic persona is much better than their doom persona. The tropes of the style are well intact including deep vocals, growls, shrieks and lots of keyboards. Fans of early doom/death would find their first and possibly second albums of interest. |
