Rising Dust

France - Active.

Description

Traditional Doom

Rising Dust was founded in 2001 and came forth from one of the oldest French Doom bands: Dark White. The band's music is clearly influenced by bands such as St. Vitus, Witchfinder General, Trouble and Paul Chain, but also has more groovy "stoner-rock" sections (Hawkwind, Rooster are, among others, listed as their main influences). The mixture of old school doom with more psychedelic influences make this band very interesting to listen too. This due to the "depressive groove" they create. In short Rising Dust plays quite good "Doom 'n Roll".
