Chorus Of Ruin

United Kingdom - Disbanded.

Description

Death/Doom

Chorus Of Ruin was a British doom metal band that originated from the Bradford area. Their music is described as a mixture between Doom, Death, Gothic, Wave, etc. by main man Paul Webb. Basically a mixture between every genre of depressive music. However most people view them as Death/Doom. They recorded a demo tape called 'Les Miserables' in 1991, the same year the band was formed. A couple of more releases followed until the band broke up in 1996. Paul Webb went solo with Another Newborn Zero. Izak founded a new band called Silverburn in which Paul Webb also played for some time. Their song 'Headstone' was covered by Dutch doomsters Officium Triste in 1999.
