Blood Farmers

USA - Disbanded.

Description

Traditional Doom

Riffing doom influenced by B-Movie horror and 70s hardrock. Blood Farmers combines elements of St. Vitus, Sabbath, and Metallica for a unique sound. The vocals are rather harsh, and the tunes are pounding.

Misc

The group takes its name from a cheap horror movie entitled "Deranged" (retitled "Invasion Of The Blood Farmers"). One of the more difficult albums of the Hellhound label to track down. Their track 'Bullet In The Head' also appears on 'Richard R. Anasky's I Am Vengeance-the revenge biography: the official MeteorCity soundtrack', which was released by MeteorCity in 2001. The movie itself (unsurprisingly titled 'I Am Vengeance') has yet to be released. Some of the bandmembers now play in a rock band called M-Squad.
