| Avantgarde Doom Really quite an amazing, unique, original solo project. Life's Decay is very difficult to define, and though is certainly doom-metal, introduces so many other influences and unique sounds it is impossible to categorise this band easily - the band describe themselves as 'Dark ExperiMental'. With an underlying edge towards modern (death or funeral?) doom, Life's Decay also features dark ambient, black, death, and even occasional industrial (particularly in the unique percussions) influences, and altogether present very dark, haunting, unsettling and highly atmospheric, excellent music. |
