Electric Funeral

Switzerland - Disbanded.

Description

Traditional Doom

As pioneering and experimental as they come, Swiss act Electric Funeral were formed at the end of the '60s, and mixed a blend of Psychedelic Heavy Rock with some Stooges-eque Garage. Reminiscent of bands like Andromeda, High Tide, Uriah Heep and Black Sabbath, with a very raw and raucous sound, and a strong proto-Doom vibe.

These were later released by Swiss label Vandisk as a single LP named 'The Wild Performance', limited to 200 copies, sometime during the '90s, and was finally re-issued in CD/double LP versions with additional material in 2019. set finally saw the light of day as 'The Wild Performance', some 50 years on, in 2019
