| Progressive Doom, Stoner/Doom Powerful, rhythmic sounding Doom Metal with a spacious atmosphere. There are some slight Stoner and Psych tendencies in the fuzzy guitar tone and dreamy vocal delivery. Yet, the guitars and drums are always switching up the tempo, filling each song with intricate melodies and busy drum fills, giving each song a more Progressive structure. The vocals consist of ethereal alto singing with some Middle Eastern flair, which may bring to mind the likes of Lisa Gerrard from Dead Can Dance. Overall, those who enjoy the Progressive tendencies of Mastodon, the dreamy vibes of Windhand, and the meditative atmosphere of Om will want to look into this band. |
