Illimitable Dolor

Australia - Active.

Description

Death/Doom, Funeral Doom

A side project of The Slow Death, Illimitable Dolor take on a style similar to that of their brother band. Emotional and atmospheric Death Doom borders on Funeral Doom with a blend of thunderous riffs and dreamy synthesizers, featuring mid-range grunts from multi-instrumentalist Stuart Prickett. The tempo ranges from ultra-slow, devastating passages that sound close to Skepticism, to galloping climactic Melodic Death sections. Altogether, the band is worth looking into for fans of Evoken, Shape of Despair, and of course, The Slow Death.
