Haast's Eagled

UK - Active.

Description

Avantgarde Doom, Stoner/Doom

Hailing from Newport in South Wales, Haast's Eagled are a trio describing themselves as Stoner/Doom, but actually mixing a number of elements over a percussive backbone that draws on '70s Stoner/Doom-Heavy Rock. Frequently dipping into Sludge/Post-metal groove, aggression and heaviness, but mixing cavernous growls with high clean vocals, they also veer into Post-rock/Prog soundscapes. As such, it's difficult to categorise, or accurately compare, their quite experimental sound.
