Herscher

France - Active.

Description

Drone/Doom, Undefinable

A three-piece from Clermont-Ferrand, Herscher have an unusual drum-bass-keyboard line-up, with which they perform their largely-instrumental Doom-based mix of Drone, Sludge, Stoner and Space Rock. Vocals, where used, are simply spoken-word or shouted. Perhaps a best match for followers of either Post-type genres, or experimental Krautrock, the music is swirling and textural in nature: too forefront to be truly ambient, but the lack of guitar gives it a similar 'sonic tapestry' nature.
