Violet Vortex

Greece - Active.

Description

Traditional Doom

Violet Vortex are old-school doomsters heavily influenced by St. Vitus, Pentagram, and The Obsessed. Excellent guitar-work and steadily improving vocals by bassist St. Spirus make them a band to keep an eye on.

Misc

The band also promotes doom-metal through their own record label 'Stoned Bunnies'. - The band mentioned doom-metal.com in their thanklist on 'Lure Elegant', which is really the coolest ever! St. Spirus, their bassist/vocalist, broke 8 ribs in a car accident in march 2004, but after a month in intensive care he survived.
