Visceral Evisceration

Austria - Disbanded.

Description

Death/Doom

Perhaps the most "eclectic" Doom-metal outfit ever. Visceral Evisceration plays a combination of Grindcore with atmospheric Death/Doom! Imagine grindcore lyrics about having intercourse with rotting corspes, cannibalism, blood, slaughtering people, etc but with slow Death/Doom, as well as epic clean male vocals, heavenly female vocals and male grunts and you'll get the idea. Because of their grindcore influence the occational burst of speed is also not unheard of.

Misc

After releasing 'Incessant Desire for Palatable Flesh' the band renamed themselves to As I lay Dying, released a promo tape, and promptly disappeared off the face of the earth. Hey, every genre needs its oddballs.. and boy did we get 'em (brilliant stuff though).
