Ashen Mortality

United Kingdom - Disbanded.

Description

Gothic/Doom

Dark atmospheres and heavy riffing layered with menacing vocals, haunting keyboards and fragile female vocals. The band's sound has a strong resemblance to older My Dying Bride. The atmosphere and feel of the music can as such easily be compared to this juggernaut of death/doom. Especially the clean and grunted male vocals play part in this. Ashen Mortality do however avoid the trap of simply copying My Dying Bride. Making this an ideal band if you are into My Dying Bride alike music, but don't want to listen to a pure clone. A very talented band that is worth checking out.
