Description

Traditional Doom, Epic Doom

A new band from Australia, playing traditional doom which lies somewhere between Pallbearer, early Cathedral, and Rituals of the Oak. The lead vocals and bass are handled by Mandy Andresen, who is also known for her stunning work in Murkrat, The Slow Death, and previously Lycanthia. The music is very much guitar-driven, with strong lead solos and plenty of intricate harmonies. The pace alternates between upbeat epic sections, and depressed periods of dirge-like slowness. Mandy's voice is as melodic and somber as ever, singing in the stoic Gregorian style that can be recognized in her other projects.
