| Atmospheric Doom, Death/Doom Unmasqueraded was Dominik Sonders' original solo project, which focused on quiet, melancholic and introspective moods mostly led by soft acoustic guitar; some electric chords sneaked into the mix to add depth to the overall minimalist soundscapes that finely illustrate all the nostalgia, sadness and broken hopes expressed in the lyrics. |

| Unmasqueraded was one of those projects which remained solo by necessity rather than choice. It effectively ceased in 2012, following the final album release, but Dominik's official announcement of that didn't come until 2015. The band continued under the name Sidetrack Walker, and has plans to re-record some Unmasqueraded material. |
