Mystic Charm

The Netherlands - Active.

Description

Death/Doom

Yet another ultra-rare, ultra-heavy, ultra-dark doom-metal gem is Mystic Charm's 'Shadows of the Unknown.' Slow, plodding, minor, near dischordant, and very, very bleak music with sick, harsh growls - surprisingly done by a female, though you can't tell by listening. They have some similarities to the very old My Dying Bride albums and Winter. This is a band that got no distribution whatsoever (incidentally, the same label that almost brought you Earthcorpse's 2 albums) and will always be a rare but special release for doom-metal fans.
