Woebegone Obscured

Denmark - Active.

Description

Progressive Doom, Death/Doom

Initially formed as a duo in 2003, and mainly dabbling in Funeral/Death/Doom of the Thergothon-vein, other genres and influences were also incorporated into their brutal sound. These included Winter and diSEMBOWELMENT (not to mention Celtic Frost), up-paced Death sections, similarities to the blackened hopelessness of Dolorian and Shiningand the Bethlehem-vein Doom/Black which can be found throughout most of the works. Over time, the blend of these elements became more of an overall Prog/Doom combination, which still retains all of its dark, extreme atmosphere.
