Germany - Active.

Description

Traditional Doom

This purely instrumental threesome is a family business, consisting of three brothers from the Kurz family. They claim to play "ultra-slow piano doom-metal", but while the piano is an important part of the music it's still dominated by droning funeral doom in the vein of Funerary Dirge. The music has a depressive/melancholic "rainy day" feeling. The name is taken from the contemplative book Barabbas by Pär Lagerkvist, where Barabbas watches Jesus put on the cross in a place meant for him.
