The Human Quena Orchestra

USA - Active.

Description

Genre not specified

A 'quena' (also called quechua) is a flute made from bamboo which has traditionally been used in the Andes mountains. Exactly how that fits with the slow doom-drone/noise of The Human Quena Orchestra is somewhat uncertain. There are no vocals, just slow Khanate-sque bass lines drenched in noise. Perhaps as close to a pure definition of doom/noise as one can get, but still borderline.
