The Last Supper

Germany - Active.

Description

Genre not specified

The Last Supper is a traditional doom band which borrow heavily from the hard rock genre (take, for instance, Hellacopters) and thus might be considered by some to be a bit to "rock-ish" to be doom metal. They make up for this with a heavy, down-tuned, mid-paced riffage. One of very few bands which manage to play traditional doom almost without influences from Black Sabbath or Cathedral. It's also worth noting that the band consistently include a Hammond organ in their tracks. Some of the lyrics are pro-Christianity, though they are far from preachy about it.
