| Death/Doom, Gothic/Doom A side project started by Brian Griffin, the lead guitarist of the death metal band Broken Hope. The music meets somewhere between the eerie Death/Doom of My Dying Bride's Turn Loose the Swans and a more aggressive sounding Gothic Metal, akin to bands like Trail of Tears. Heavy riffs and abrasive death growls combine with violins, atmospheric keyboards, and rockish sounding female vocals. Those who are familiar with Whispering Forest or the earliest releases of Ashes You Leave will be the most likely to find something to enjoy in Em Sinfonia. |
