Description:
Electric Wizard - the band Electric Wizard
United Kingdom
Active
One of the heaviest Doom bands around. They create ultra slow, sluggish and heavy psychedelic/spacey music. Electric Wizard is one of the bigger names within the Stoner/Doom scene together with bands like Sleep. Their music, however "doped", is extremely doomy.

Misc. info: In the early years the band wandered between several different names. It is unknown wether the 'Rehersal Demo' from 1990 is more than a rumor, but both it and the split with Mortal Remains was made under the name Lord of Putrefaction. The two following demos were made under the name Thy Grief Eternal and the 'Promo '93' went under the name Eternal. With the release of 'Electric Wizard' came their modern name.
