Whatever your definition of "heavy" is, you will need to redefine it after hearing the early works of Earth! Beyond heavy and slow, this band can be counted as one of the heaviest bands on...Earth, containing minimalistic but ultra heavy drone guitar without many other instruments or vocals. Earth have had their fair deal of experimentation throughout their career and later work has retained the minimalism, while getting rid of the distorted elements.
