Possibly the slowest, heaviest doom band that has ever been. Sunn O))) takes slow, dark, heavy, painful music to levels never before dreamed. Imagine Skepticism's 'The March and the Stream' played at one quarter speed for an idea of what this sounds like. A project of Steven O'Malley (Burning Witch, Thorr's Hammer and Khanate) and Greg Anderson (Goatsnake and Thorr's Hammer). Formed in memory of the cult drone-riff band Earth, Sunn O))) may have surpassed their forefathers as the heaviest and slowest band on... well, not on Earth, but in the entire universe!
