Description:
Reverend Bizarre - the band Reverend Bizarre
Finland
Active
This Reverend preaches the doom gospel in a most convincing way. Slow and heavy traditional doom with dramatic vocals following in the footsteps of bands like St. Vitus, The Obsessed and of course Black Sabbath (without becoming borderline stoner!). The Reverend sure knows how to preach their gospel: ".. puritans are awake, the crusade against trendy stoner shit goes ever on. Doom over the World!" I guess all we can add is an "Amen brother"?

Misc. info: The split 'Under the Sign of the Wolf' is with the band Mannhai. The members of Reverend Bizarre are also active in many other bands. For instance, Peter has a progressive rock band called Orne and Albert is in an experimental march/ambient band called Herven Agal. - the 1999 release of 'Slice of Doom' was released once by the band themselves and once by The Holy Parish of Doom with differed covers and other slight alterations (it also was released as a tape).
