Name: Country: Status: Description:	Grief USA Active Slow, mournful, repetitive. One of the harshest, heaviest and most depressive bands ever. Both the music and grunts are extremely sick. Grief is a special band, you have to hear it to believe it. The pain will last!!! Highly recommended, but not for people who only enjoy more romantic doom or traditional doom. The band was founded in 1991 by Disrupt guitarist Terry Savastano and drummer Randy Odierno (who later switched to bass and later again left to join Bane of Existence). In 2001 the band split up due to being unhappy with the hostile musical climate in which their music (doom-metal) was unfortunatly not appreciated anymore.

Misc. info:	Both guitarist Terry Savastano and vocalist/guitarist Jeff Hayward play in the Punk act The Sqwags. The band reunited in 2005.
