Stoner/Doom :

Emerging in the 1990s, a subgenre of Doom Metal that utilizes blues and psychedelic influences to widely varying degrees. Bands tend to use a generous amount of effects on the guitars (and on the bass) including flangers/phasers, fuzz, noisy distortions and heavy reverbs. Tonally, Stoner Doom tends to be very bass heavy often utilizing large amounts of feedback. Also at times referred to as Psychedelic Doom.
