Canada - Disbanded
Description
Two-member doom outfit by Jacek "the doomhammer" and Gregorz "Haus ov Doom" who play brutal, experimental, symphonic and industrial death/doom-metal. And that doesn't even come close to scratching the surface. Some of the strangest and most original doom-metal ever. Sometimes going from brutal fast blast beats to uncompromisingly slow tempos, to strange industrial and symphonic noises within the space of a single song. The band was founded in 1993 and while both members now live in Canada they originally came from Poland. The band has been heavily inspired by bands such as Laibach and Swans. Both members are also active in the underground industrial/alternative music scene.

'Divine Tragedy'

...What makes Demonia so special is their ability to make music that harmonizes into beautiful melodies without any particularly impressive guitarplay or soloing. It all cumulates into a single holistic aura...
